A left luggage, a lonely bench and a poster waiting to be discovered.

Each poster has its own story and where you see the poster is also important. The layout for the poster is designed beforehand but the rest developed through the project through the meetings with the people.

Jedes Poster hat seine eigene Geschichte und es ist auch wichtig wo du das Poster siehst. Der Entwurf des Posters stand schon vorher, aber der Rest entstand im Verlauf des Projekts, durch die Treffen mit den Menschen.

"Ich mag das Gebäude am liebsten, da es einem Türken gehört." wird Perec denken, wenn er das Poster liest:" Ich habe nicht viel über dieses Land zu sagen; das Land gibt es nicht, es ist eine Illusion."



Reading the poster "I moved to Wilhemsburg, because I quitted my job as an architect and I wanted to live with less money", I thought of the reason why I live in my neighbourhood.

Auf dem Poster steht:" Ich bin nach Wilhelmsburg gezogen, da ich meinen Job als Architekt aufgegeben hatte und mit weniger Geld auskommen wollte", ich habe darüber nachgedacht warum ich in meinem Viertel wohne.

"Mary Jane Jacob, alongside Suzanne Lacy one of the most important mentors of "New Public Art" as a curator of community-oriented projects, outlines their historical location in this way: "If, in the 1970s, we were extending the definition of who the artist is along lines of nationality or ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation; and in the 1980s the place of exhibitions expanded to include any imaginable venue ...; then in the 1990s we are grappling with broadening the definition of who is the audience for contemporary art."

The meeting; there are many different types of meetings in this project; this looks like one that is programmed before. Coffee, milk and the plans are ready. The poster for the project lies there to be talked after. Maybe they talk about Wilhemsburg.

Das Treffen; im Projekt gibt es eine Menge unterschiedlicher Treffen; dieses sieht aus als wäre es geplant. Kaffee, Milch und die Pläne sind fertig. Das Projektposter liegt dort um besprochen zu werden. Vielleicht sprechen sie über Wilhelmsburg.

Yes, it was a planned meeting indeed: we met the one of the architects, who won the 1st prize for the new centre in Wilhelmsburg. See how critical we look at him... We had many questions which were somehow left unanswered.

Es war tatsächlich ein geplantes Treffen, wir haben einen der Architekten, der den ersten Preis für einen neuen Center in Wilhelmsburg gewonnen hat, getroffen. Seht nur wie kritisch wir ihn ansehen... Wir hatten viele Fragen, die bislang unbeantwortet geblieben waren.
