I searched for the windmill in Wilhemsburg on web, it does not exist, it is only a screensaver.
Ich habe eine Windmühle in Wilhelmsburg im Netz gesucht, es gibt keine, es ist nur ein Bildschirmschoner.

Talking to an old man who lives next to the windmill we found out that "Johanna"- that is her name- was built in 1814. Now there is a windmill association with 400 members, most of them neighbours in the area, who take care of her and use the windmill for parties, meetings and exhibitions. The old man gave us the key and for 3 days we were very glad to be right next to her with our mobile office, as there is no other toilet around.

Im Gespräch mit einem alten Mann, der in der Nähe der Windmühle lebt, fanden wir ihren heraus, dass sie "Johanna" heißt und 1814 erbaut wurde. Heute gibt es eine Windmühlenvereinigung mit 400 Mitgliedern, die meisten sind Anwohner, die sich um sie kümmern and die Mühle für Feiern, Treffen und Ausstellungen nutzen. Der alte Mann gab uns den Schlüssel und für drei Tage waren wir so glücklich mit unserem mobilen Heim direkt neben ihr zu stehen, aber es gibt keine Toilette in der Nähe.

A neighbour project or they live there in the minibus and this is their living-room, or they are roofless, or it is too hot to be inside, or the sofas were there and while passing by they decided to have a rest, or they are having a meeting about non architecture or they wanted to copy Hinguckenweggucken project, or they are simply bored.

Ein Nebenprojekt oder leben sie in dem Minibus und das ist ihr Wohnzimmer oder sie haben kein Dach oder es ist zu heiß um drinnen zu sein oder die Sofas waren schon da und sie haben im Vorbeigehen beschlossen eine Pause zu machen oder sie haben ein Meeting über Nicht-Architektur oder sie wollen das Hinguckenweggucken Projekt kopieren oder ist ihnen einfach nur langweilig.



Hans Christian Andersen tells in the windmill story; "Windmill stood upon the hill, proud to look at, and it was proud too. “I am not proud at all,” it said, “but I am very much enlightened without and within. I have sun and moon for my outward use, and for inward use too; and into the bargain I have stearine candles, train oil and lamps, and tallow candles. I may well say that I’m enlightened. I’m a thinking being, and so well constructed that it’s quite delightful. I have a good windpipe in my chest, and I have four wings that are placed outside my head, just beneath my hat. The birds have only two wings, and are obliged to carry them on their backs. I am a Dutchman by birth, that may be seen by my figure—a flying Dutchman. They are considered supernatural beings, I know, and yet I am quite natural. I have a gallery round my chest, and house-room beneath it; that’s where my thoughts dwell."

Hans Christian Andersen erzählt eine Geschichte über eine Windmühle: "Es war einmal eine Windmüehle, die stand auf einem Hügel, schön anzusehen und sie war stolz darauf. "Ich bin überhaupt nicht stolz", sagte sie, "aber ich bin eben erleuchtet außen und innen. Außen habe ich Sonne und Mond und innen auch. Zusätzlich habe ich Staerin Kerzen, Fischtran, Lampen und Talglichter. Ich kann wohl behaupten erleuchtet zu sein. Ich bin ein denkendes Wesen und so gut gebaut, dass es entzückend ist. Ich habe eine Luftröhre in meiner Brust und ich habe vier Flügel, die an meinem Kopf direkt unter meinem Hut, befestigt sind. Die Vögel haben nur zwei Flügel und sie müssen sie auf ihren Rücken tragen. Ich bin Holländer von Geburt an, das mag man mir ansehen - ein fliegender Holländer. Sie werden als übernatürliche Wesen angesehen, das weiß ich, und doch bin ich ziemlich natürlich. Ich habe eine Galerie um meine Hüfte und darunter ist ein Wohnraum. Dort ist es wo meine Gedanken wohnen.



A sunny day in Wilhemsburg; it looks like more people will drop by or even they can stop for a cup of coffee. Nadin looks like she lives there for a long time and has visitors everyday. A domestic place in a space and it is welcoming also.

Ein Sonnentag in Wilhelmsburg; es sieht so aus als würden viele Leute vorbeikommen oder sogar auf eine Tasse Kaffee haltmachen. Nadin sieht so aus, als würde sie schon eine ganze Weile hier leben und hätte jeden Tag Gäste. Ein Zuhause in einem offenen Platz und einladend ist es auch.
